2020 Half Moon Rosé
Our Half Moon Rosè has a light salmon color that looks almost blush in the glass, and keeps its dry character all the way through the finish. Floral aromas and sublte fruit flavors on the finish make this wine enjoyable for almost every palate, from those who like dry red wines and even to those who like a sweeter wine. This is an incredibly versatile food wine and our favorite paired with appetizers and charcuterie trays.

Production notes
This rosé wine was produced using the “direct press” method, meaning that the grapes were pressed immediately without letting the juice draw out any significant color from the skins. The grapes were whole cluster pressed, and the juice was then transferred into stainless steel tanks so that we can control the temperatures to about 50° F. After letting the juice settle we began cold fermentation which lasted for about 30 days.

This Provence style dry rosé has a medium body and smooth finish, with more complexity than your typical rosé. This wine goes well with just about anything, but we really like it with foods that have robust flavors like jambalaya, Cajun crab cakes, charcuterie trays, and goat cheese.
