2022 Stella Serenade
This dry white wine blend has a medium body and a golden color, with floral aromas characteristic of Traminette and just a hint of oak from the Petit Manseng. A smooth finish with subtle notes of oak on a lingering finish, we like to pair this wine with lighter foods that are spiced up a bit more like blackened chicken alfredo, chicken piccata, or pizza with a white sauce.

Production notes
These grapes were hand harvested and sorted in the field to remove unripe fruit and any foreign materials that could possibly affect the wine. In the winery we processed each varietal independently to produce a traditional white wine and then blended the finished wines. We whole cluster press the grapes, then move the juice into stainless steel tanks so that we can control the temperatures to about 50° F. After letting the juice settle we began cold fermentation which lasted for about 30 days. After fermentation we aged the Petit Manseng in American oak barrels for about 3 months before blending.

We've always loved how good a blending grape our Traminette is, and this vintage is no different. This time we chose to pair it with Petit Manseng, another grape that is becoming more popular in vineyards these days because it grows well in our climate. Because Traminette has such bold characteristics we wanted to find a way to help mellow out the floral aromas without losing them entirely, and we also wanted to keep its signature spice notes on the finish. To help out with these goals the Petit Manseng was aged in American oak barrels for about three months before getting blended in with the Traminette.
The resulting blend has produced one of our more popular white wines! Just enough of the floral aromas to make you wonder if there is any sugar on this wine, but then the dry, lingering finish that we've come to appreciate. This medium bodied, dry white wine brings out slight oak flavors and a smooth finish that makes this one of our favorite food wines.
