2022 Silver Moon
Our first time blending with our Riesling grapes, this wine is made from 50% Riesling and 50% Trebbiano. This dry white wine has a light body and smooth finish, with citrus/lime and green apple/granny smith flavors that combine for a great summer wine that can be enjoyed sitting on the porch/deck or at the beach. The crisp acidity also allows this wine to pair well with hard dry cheeses, lighter meats like grilled chicken or fish, and also with creamier pasta dishes like carbonara.
Look: Light grassy color

Taste: Lime/citrus flavors, with minerality on the finish
These grapes were hand harvested and sorted in the field to remove unripe fruit and any foreign materials that could possibly affect the wine. In the winery we processed each varietal independently and blended the finished wines. We whole cluster press the grapes, then move the juice into stainless steel tanks so that we can control the temperatures to about 50° F. After letting the juice settle we began cold fermentation which lasts for about three weeks.

This light bodied, dry white wine brings out the natural citrus characteristics of both the Riesling and Trebbiano. We have paired this with seafood, Asian, and Mexican foods.
